To preview and perfect stage design before build-out
Event production company EideCom has introduced EideVision, a first-of-its-kind VR solution that allows planners to fully immerse themselves in a stadium-scale event environment before any stage is built or equipment is installed. Developed in-house with game engine technology, the tool lets clients virtually walk through their event space, test sightlines from the back row, evaluate how massive LED screens will look up close, and analyze whether lighting designs cause glare—all in real time using VR headsets. This hands-on preview has already helped clients make crucial changes such as repositioning or resizing screens, modifying lighting, and adjusting color schemes, refinements that are often missed in traditional 2D diagrams.
“With EideVision, we’re not just showing clients a rendering. We’re giving them the power to explore every angle of their event space, identify potential issues, and make confident decisions before anything is physically built,” says Charles Eide, founder and CEO of EideCom.
